If it wants to prevent voter fraud, then my profile should be sufficient. They say they won't spam me, but they make no guarantee they won't use my friends list for other things. This is badly thought out on their part.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that they shouldn't need your friends list. I'll pass it on to the event organizers.
