I don't understand the point of this. So what if the Chiefs sneak into the playoffs as a wild card team? Then What? Chiefs fans get to be tortured for one more week? This team is better off losing the rest of the games and securing a better draft pick.

Card just released Desmond Bishop

nothing, we have a franchise LT and QB

Per BJ Kissel

"We can fix these problems." #Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

Not a game that gives me warm and fuzzies, but Pittsburgh has been really shaky against a cupcake schedule. It's a winnable game.

It's all for naught because let's be real... We will be lucky to win a single playoff game even if we get in.

Alex Smith may not be the greatest option, but he's not horrible. The passing game needs weapons - nice to have two decent TEs, Kelce is likely the best option, but the WRs need to be overhauled.

If KC can get away from Bowe and the other spares, that's the way to go. Or, keep Bowe, but you have to have a legit #1 threat and he's just not it. I think he's a solid #2.

This is nothing earth shattering, but Smith is good enough to win with KC, but there's nothing to be trusted with the weapons. Smith is the best option for the near future, build around him with real talent at WR and you'll likely see an improvement.

It's a passing league now and if you can't pass, you're not going anywhere. There are a lot of options out there... http://www.spotrac.com/free-agents/nfl/wide-receiver/

If you were a real fan you'd point out that Alex is the QB version of Al Davis and you hope he never leaves KC because the Chiefs will never threaten Denver.

But of course you're a huge pussy like most donk fans.

And you still won't get a SB.

Dorsey, once again, got out maneuvered.

Because trading away your best players in their prime is how you win championships.

Hmmm... not sure about all that. If I saw a better option out there for you, I'd say go for it. Vick, Hoyer ... anyone?

Hell, if it were me, I'd see if I can sign Ryan Mallet for a reasonable deal and see what happens. Too bad he got hurt, but he can sling it.

Denver hasn't defeated KC simply because Alex Smith is the QB... KC is one dimensional and when they fail to focus on that one dimension, like last night - well, you get what you got.

Jamaal Charles is a luxury on team that isn't built to contend from year to year.

Which is what KC is..

I think that Charles is at that point where he starts to diminish a bit - that happens to RBs that get a lot of touches and are entering their 8th season. KC might take another season to totally fix things, by then Charles is a decade into his career - then what?

is this some self-serving creation for Denver to add to its already ridiculous talent? :harumph:

Nope - they wouldn't take on the $ for him.
