Kaepernick is the QB he'd truly excel with.

Kaepernick blows no matter who coaches him.

You and I both. Uncanny on just how much we see this team the same way...

His offense, however effective as far as yardage is concerned, places far too much stress on the defense with its fast pace. Plus, it was all inherited. Who has he brought in? Sproles? Literally everyone important on that offense was there before he got there.

He's not even aggressive like I thought he might be, either. The guy's asshole puckers up like most any other coach when faced with 4th down situations in pressure situations.

Every bit of this.

If he gets a coach like Kelly or Shanahan or someone who embraces the read option / running QB ... he'll be a stud, and I'll bet anyone anything.

He inherited most of the roster, so we don't have any idea if he can build an NFL team. Just that when it comes to coaching day to day, he's done alright.

That reporter is an actual reporter with an actual print publication, the Boston Herald, so he's not just some internet clown.

Hes gonna go back to college. Saban and Meyer are literally kings ...college gigs now are much better than pro gigs in my opinion.

The direction the league is going that would not surprise me.

He would certainly do a lot better. He needs help reading the defense as well.

tecumseh 01-02-2015 05:04 PM

He's had his fill of pro players.

Where? Saban's not going anywhere, Meyer's locked in at Ohio State, Harbaugh's at Michigan, Charlie Strong at Texas, David Shaw at Stanford, Kevin Sumlin's as good as anyone, etc. and so on.

I could see him at USC if they hadn't hired Sark. Maybe he goes to UCLA if Mora bolts for the NFL (which is rumored).

I could see him in Atlanta before college in 2015.

Mr. Flopnuts 01-02-2015 05:05 PM

The thing is, if he wanted to go back to college he wouldn't need to get out of his contract would he?

Buehler445 01-02-2015 05:05 PM

I wanted him when he was talking about bolting. I wanted an innovative hungry guy.

We got a retread, and it looks to me like he isn't all that innovative.
