I think they gone. Looks like Smith is going to be gone in 2016.

Gonna be sad to see smith gone.

All the DBs we draft fit our scheme. Hope these two pan out.

Arguably you need 4. I love this pick. Good value for the 3rd.

Not so sure he is. We have a ton of cap next year even with Houston.

Love our depth at corner now. Smith, Gaines, Peters, Nelson, Cooper.

We've gone from not really having a no 2 to being possibly 4 deep.

You want an answer for Manning and the Donks?

Add quality CB's who can jam and cover and keep that elite pass rush...

Peters should earn the no 2 and if Gaines and Nelson battle for the 3rd/Nickel we'll be just fine. Good, actually...

If Gaines didn't impress you I have to really question your player evaluation.

This I thought Gaines looked great from what we saw of him.

If he has another season like he did last season I can see him asking for a pretty big Payday PFF had him Rated pretty high at the end of last season.

Did you not read the post you quoted?

Small sample size. We didn't get to see him in the no 2 role later in the year after other guys sucked and we had injuries.

Cooper looked decent in a small sample size as well and then looked like ass when he got his chance last year.

Also worthy of note is after this draft Parker will stay his ass at S and not see any time at CB unless something horrible happens...

Our secondary has a chance to be flat out nasty. There are going to be lots of coverage sacks. Guys, Dorsey is building a monster defense. I mean there's a lot of talent on that side of the ball.

Once Smith leaves it will be Peters and Gaines on the outside with Nelson in the slot.

Not bad. Kind of like it actually.

Hammock Parties 05-01-2015 09:59 PM

Need to stock up on defense with our QB.

Except for one gaping hole in the middle that we refuse to fix

What's crazy is that we also brought in 2 CBs who can attack the ball, and can flat out tackle. Hopefully force some INTs and Fumbles. Might help us blow up some screens and provide outside run support.
