Perhaps but if I were to drink that much I would be hung like a bull hamster and life would suck the next morning. I try to avoid that crap at this point.

On a side note I go to some health food store that knocks out fresh squeezed orange juice and that seems to make a lot of difference in taste. I also use unfiltered pineapple juice. I'm telling you, this recipe is outstanding.

You know, I never really got into fruity tastes with my rum. I go with cola, hot chocolate or coffee. Definitely with the vodka though. Here I have had a juicer for several years and I haven't tried adding vodka to my favorite carrot/orange juice mix. Gonna have to do that this weekend.

Nice punch recipe. If you have any left on Sunday a.m - pour about 2 oz in a stem glass, top w/2 or 3 oz cold sparkling wine - I'd use Frixenet or some other Spanish Cava or an inexpensive CA 'champagne'. Feed this to the ladies til they're dancing on the patio.

I was just looking up some other rum punch recipes - found one really similar to yours, Bwana. An add-in this one calls for is about 2 oz of cranberry juice. If you've got it, give it a try sometime.
