That's what constantly stood out to me watching him against SD and then in last years PS.
By the time the quarterback gets the ball, Kush was already 2 steps into his pull. He might be a top 5 center as far as mobility goes.
Hopefully he has improved his functional strength enough that he can handle the larger NTs and not get pushed back too much. I think that was the knock on him in the draft process.
To me, it seems he has drastically improved his core strength (he is a lot more muscular in his core than he was as a rookie) and if he hasn't lost his mobility in the process and he has adequately picked up the mental part of making the line calls (this is my concern), we might have a solid starter at center.
