I think the team would've been better losing Alex Smith than Dontari Poe.
Might sound exaggerated but is it? I've always said Poe is the most important player on this D...maybe even on the whole team. HUGE loss! As long as he stays healthy Catapano will get the opportunity prove all his cynics right or wrong...they are pushing him on their website, articles on espn, fox etc so its obvious he will get to show what he's got. I hope he makes the most of the opportunity. By his words and mannerisms you can tell he clearly believes in himself and his ability. If you don't think you can be great then you won't be. With Poe gone the defensive line needs a boost. If Cat does well in passing downs and gets after the QB (and in particularly if he does well when he's run on) it would help cushion a very big blow. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wYDCAJUoWcU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

its very simple. but what you have now in the meantime is an athletic defensive line with some experience and some talent. So it will be interesting to see how it plays out. But to say Catapano isn't good against the run makes no sense. |

We are ****ed. The D is going to give up 150 rushing yards a game while Poe is out, and the pass rush will suffer significantly. Meanwhile some turd named Sage is beasting Eric Fisher in camp. 0-4 |
