Any company that looks down on neatly trimmed facial hair isn't a company you probably want to work for.

I applied at Wolfgang Puck's in Disney a couple years ago and they told me I'd have to shave. You're only allowed a moustache there.

Because most dishwashers aren't man enough to grow a mustache so they don't have to worry about such shit.

Shave, if you don't have a lot of experience it will show on your resume and if that is the case, I would say they are looking for young talent.

I haven't gone to an interview clean shaven in more than 15 years. At least had a goatee. That's 7 jobs (some of them concurrent). Never seemed to hold me back.

I always present who I am. I'm not going to change who I am. I don't want to set an expectation that I'm not willing to uphold. That means I'm going in with facial hair of some sort, and every interview in the past 10 years, I didn't wear a tie. I'll wear a nice shirt, slacks, a blazer if that's what they want. I don't do ties.
