I damn near got at trouble at work over this. I was listening with the volume turned way down and then Gomes got up and did his thing and I couldn't help busting out laughing!

Am I the only one who thought this was annoying? What did this guy do for this team to even deserve holding the mic in the first place? He had 30 at-bats and a .469 OPS and wasn't even on the postseason roster. Then he rants and raves about how "politically incorrect" he is for saying "ass"? How is that cool?

From what I understand he is a veteran the guys trusted and could confide in. Great on the bench and in the clubhouse. He was simular to the roll Raul Ibanez filled last year.
