He's a very average QB which is better than anything we've had since Green.

He does not lose games with stupidity but then again, don't expect him to win games with brilliance either.
I can live with that.

easily the best sliding QB in the game!

I think he drives teams crazy - much in the same way Jake Plummer used to bootleg us. It's so annoying to give up yards that way.

Hmmm. So like the opposite of you? Overly harsh on the Chiefs, over effusive with praise of all other teams? That kind of thing?

Ah, the Jake Plummer bootleg. You'd think there would have been one time Eric Hicks would have remembered not to crash down on that play leaving Plummer wide open on the roll out. But no.

Homers are a dime a dozen.

I'm one of a kind, baby.

That's certainly true. You are unique. To quote the band Everclear "you're perfect in a ****ed up way"

I hope this was sarcasm.

2015 Manning wasn't the best QB of all time. He wasn't even a top 15 QB in the NFL. He was terrible, and the broncos won in spite of mediocre (at best) QB play.

The guy uses Carr's Rookie year to compare against Smiths best year. WTF?

When I saw that it ruined the credibility of the comparison, but he did admit his mistake and stated at the end hed take Carr over Smith

Both need to be improved greatly this year.

And add his rushing yards dont you think?

I'm bigger on completion %, yards per attempt, total team td's, and td/int ratio. Our team has a run first mentality thus ypg as a benchmark is practically useless.

I can live with that.

His playoff performances both here and with San Fran says otherwise

He has made a lot of plays with his feet....especially last season.

But if he keeps trying to make stuff happen with his feet, he's gonna get pay a heavy price...

I'd much rather have a guy who doesnt have to rely on his feet as much...but not all of the blame is on ALex for that last season...the right side of our line caved in alot on him. Hopefully we got that figured out.

I'd love to see his rushing yards go down to almost zero and his passing yards go up by that same amount or more

Pasta Little Brioni 08-12-2016 10:03 AM

I can't tell if this is the real pawnmower or not

RunKC 08-12-2016 10:11 AM

Biggest issue was protection. He got nervous and didn't want to take shots on good defenses that pressured him, after getting killed in the first 4 games last season.

When Alex had a good OL in the 2nd half of 2013, he scored 20 TD's in the last 9 games. He also scored multiple TD's a game in 4 of the last 6 regular season games in 2015.

He's an average level QB who can be above average if the OL and receivers are good, which
appears to be the case this year.
