It's not food poisoning or a bug... they said "the flu."

A lot of people use "the flu" as a catch all term for stomach bugs. Hopefully that's the case here, and it's not actual influenza.

I hear the flu knocks you out for days. Legit bed-ridden or close to it.

I've had many colds but never anything like that, thankfully.

I'd never had a real "influenza" until 2014. Suffice to say, it was absolutely brutal. I'd go from freezing so badly that my bones and teeth were literally clacking, to sweating profusely, back and forth, all throughout the day for nearly a week. Then it moved into my joints and ended up with bronchitis, which took another six weeks to eradicate.

Good times.

ain't no thang. Jordan had one of his best games ever with the flu

Strongside 09-28-2016 02:59 PM

I've had some kind of nasty shit since Sunday night. Thought it was my throat hurting from yelling at the game, but I've been in bed all week with fever, chills, aches, cough...it's pretty terrible, whatever it is.

He was on fire last week so yeah i could see how he got the flu. I hope he eat some cookies and rest and get ready for sunday.

It's wednesday.

Catching the flu is probably safer than anything you'd catch from touching Big Ben.

Rausch 09-28-2016 03:10 PM

Suck it up Peters...

SAUTO 09-28-2016 04:41 PM

He's gonna shit all over the Steelers Sunday night anyway.

They are just gonna blame it on the flu

Sandy Vagina 09-28-2016 04:47 PM

great... just ****ing great.

We go onto the next game against arguably THE best WR in the League (top 3), and our top CB is likely to be compromised. Of course.

tecumseh 09-28-2016 04:48 PM

Yeah, but does he have a fever? A fever for INTS!!

gblowfish 09-28-2016 06:28 PM

He may have the Boogie Woogie Flu, which, as we all know, can sometimes be accompanied by the Rockin' Pneumonia....

Wasn't going to cover him anyway, most probably.

JoeyChuckles 09-28-2016 06:41 PM

Probably caught it from Fitzpatrick.
