If you want the best UK weather you need to be her between June and August. It is pretty miserable now. Humidity is low.

London is great but there are plenty of other cool places to visit Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton really depends what you are into. A lot of Americans like the Castles and Historic type stuff.

If you do come over let me know.

I will. London isn't even on my radar outside of my desire to see #9. I follow British news on my phone almost daily and have always been fascinated with your country. I'll look forward to getting some advice from you when the time comes. I'm hopeful it will be next summer.

Before I die I'd love to revisit where my parents lived outside of London and where my maternal grandparents where from in the Rhineland.

Nice, you also need to start a meaningless argument with a relative, preferably an in-law.

Don't go out in public tomorrow. It's a national holiday in the US called "black friday" where poor people get in mob riots to buy off-brand chinese electronics that will fail by august.

Yep, and remember: You only "win" if you get the last word!

As long as you aren't Canadian, have a nice Thanksgiving here in the states.

patteeu 11-24-2016 03:35 PM

Do they have any of the good holidays (like 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Martin Luther King day) in England?
