Thoughts about this though?

Chiefs have traded away their 1st (Mahomes), 5th (Erving) and 7th (Acker) picks in 2018 draft.

Feeling really ****ing great about it!

If you would have told me 2 years ago that we'd give up a 5th in '18 for Cam Erving, I would have told you to quit ****ing with me.

Veach is killing it.

His coaching in Cleveland has been fine. He's probably just bad.

And bad is still better than Reid.

I like how he actually addresses our needs.

All good trades considering what they received in return. 5th and 7th round picks are negligible. Only way any of this goes south is if Mahomes doesn't pan out, which is doubtful barring a catastrophic injury.

penbrook 08-30-2017 12:01 PM

Ragland, Erving, and now showing interest in Haden. Veach ain't messing around

Getting a former 1st round, versatile talent for what should be a late 5th is great value.

I doubt that the Chiefs could have drafted an offensive lineman with his ceiling in the late 5th.

Kiimo 08-30-2017 12:02 PM

This guy only played two years on offensive line. He might have been bad but is nowhere near his ceiling yet.

Skyy God 08-30-2017 12:02 PM

Better have been a conditional 5th.

Erving was awful in Cleveland

penbrook 08-30-2017 12:03 PM

Chiefs O line is very good. With the right coaching Erving will be a nice swing tackle. Reid better be cut

Strongside 08-30-2017 12:04 PM

Veach out here bustin' heads 'n shit.

So y'all finally wised up and got yourselves one of those 1-15 Cleveland Browns. I guess congratulations are in order.
