Yeah, this is not good. I'm getting worried about this game. Hope they don't overlook Philly. They'd love nothing more than to stick it to Andy Reid.

Chill.

Framed in my office at work.

It's part of a nice little collage I've got, featuring my game ticket, the Star flyer they were handing out in the parking lot after the game, and a picture of NZoner and I right after it ended.

Don't forget about the NFL neck brace issue featuring Jovan Belcher.

That KU/MU game for all the marbles is the most incredible thing that ever happened.

And of course MU winning, then missing out on a major bowl while KU went to one - is the most MU thing ever.

How's that cover working out for Tommy Boy? He was junk on National TV and we made him pay for it. Humiliated him in front of his home crowd. Oh and **** you Robert Kraft Your the Cheatiest. (see what i did there?)

He's been on the cover like 21 times. I'd say overall it's working out fine for him TBH.

Oh, and it's ****ing September. EARLY September. And it's been ONE game. At least wait until Halloween, much less Thanksgiving, before you crown yourself. Jesus.

Dude. We've won the season already, Alex is shocking the world. Proving all the haters wrong. 16-0 is a legit possibility.

You'll see.

He's not on the new Madden, so we're fine.

From Wikipedia

Quote:

A common explanation for the perceived effect is that athletes are generally featured on the cover after an exceptionally good performance, which might be an outlier compared to their usual level of performance. Therefore, their future performance is likely to display regression toward the mean and be less impressive by comparison.[3] This decline in performance would then be misperceived as being related to, or even possibly caused by, the appearance on the magazine cover.

Do people still subscribe to SI? From what I remember (back when they were relevant) is that their covers were/are regional.
