Mahomes is the right move, but not a move that will be made this year

Then Andy should be FIRED!!! I believe we can make a run in the playoffs This year with Mahomes. YEAH I ****ING SAID IT!!!!!

PAChiefsGuy 11-20-2017 09:09 AM

You guys don't even know how far along Mahomes is mentally or if he is even ready yet... Reid is the one who sees him every day in practice. If it was time to start Mahomes Reid would know not some keyboard warriors who are not there every day in practice teaching Mahomes and working on his weaknesses like Reid and our coaches are.

You are a f**king idiot. Yeah lets fire Andy Reid after how he turned this franchise around. Sounds like a great plan.

Watson never faced live fire in the NFL either and he succeeded against it so what makes you think Mahomes will struggle against it? Plus we have an easier schedule coming up with a lot of home games, perfect time to get some NFL experience.

Kelce saying we can’t beat Cover-2 seems like a pretty direct indictment of Alex.

Why some of you would hope there is when it would be bad for the Chiefs I wonder... Makes me question what you think is more important what is good for the Chiefs or how you can satisfy your irrational hatred of Smitty?

Despite his struggles recently he still is pretty much top 5-10 in all major QB categories

QB Rating - 107.6 - #2
Compl % - 69.4 - #2
Yds - 2,674 - #5 Yds/Gm - 267 - #7
TDs - 18 - #6
INTs - 3 - Tied #2

He's doing fine overall. We are struggling right now on offense and he had a really bad game but you don't bench the guy and start a raw rookie over that.

+1

But we do know how far along Alex is mentally and we can see that the demons are dancing in his head again and they are causing him to revert back to the bad Alex! I'd rather unwrap our Ferrari and see how it performs instead of sending our Ford Pinto out there to get rear ended and burst into flames!

If you've been a Chiefs fan for many decades, you:

a) Have reconciled this outcome as it repeats itself over and over
b) Goes far deeper than playing one QB over the other

i do know that it cant be worse then Alex's. Dudes bene in the league 13 years and still has 0 pocket presence. dude still panic's when there is no real danger.

maybe Mahomes isnt 100 percent ready, but Alex has never been either.

BigRedChief 11-20-2017 09:30 AM

Maybe. Posted in another thread.............

We can all see a lack of 100% effort by almost every player on the team. We got eyes, its on tape. Hunt and the coaches can see the tape too. Losing 4-5 with the talent we have playing lesser talent has to kill morale and effort in the locker room.

Players not giving their best effort happens first because of personal reasons. They just are not going to give 100% because of a myriad of reasons.

The major contributor either positive or negative is coaching. Just look at the Rams. Basically the same team. New coach, different effort and results. Its a hard physical game. The players need to buy in to the game plan and who is starting 100% in the NFL.

IMHO, whats going on is that they might like Andy as a coach and or as a person, but..... that a large % of the players dont like the game plan, scheme and/or the personnel starting.

Players told us publicly that they loved Grbac and Cassel. We found out later that was BS. Is this a situation where we have the locker room moving to starting Mahomes?

He also watches film and sees Alex ****ing up a potential SB run. What the **** is Alexis doing that Mahomes can't? HUH?!!!

YES. Again, Kelce has been dropping nuggets raving about Mahomes in practice and the the cover 2 comment. If you can't see that is ALL on the QB then you DON'T KNOW SHIT!!!!!

ARROW2 11-20-2017 09:36 AM

Robinson says he thinks he knows what the problem is but can't say it? WTF? We know what the **** is going on and I am in no mood for Reid's bullshit or any company line bullshit.

sooo..Kelces a adumbass until he complains about Alex, then he's a genius.

got it.

I'm not an Alex lover, but frankly, he was about the only guy I saw out there yesterday literally throwing himself towards a win. He fought the weather conditions somewhat at times, NYG didn't complete any long bombs either IIRC.

kcpasco 11-20-2017 09:39 AM

Everyone knows what the problem is, it’s obvious. Notice how the qb isn’t calling anyone out, it’s because he can’t without looking like a dumb shit.
