Got in early and put in a grueling six hours. Off until January 8th. Watching the kid run around and waiting for the wife to get home.

Came in at 6:30 am, will be here 2 more hours.

Back at 6:30am until 5pm Saturday.

Just left work. Stopped at a buddy's. Headed to the PO to check my mail. Don't have to put up with anyone's bullshit until Tues. Life is good.

I get off work at 11pm. Five of us in the tower tonight, I smoked a turkey and everyone else brought sides. We're watching National Lampoon's Christmas vacation. We've talked to a total of two aircraft tonight.

Did the two aircraft hit each other, or did you talk them down?

I've been off since Oct 20th.

We got lucky this time, they were hours apart from each other. Not even I could screw this one up.

Thank you so much. Happy to say I am currently cancer free but there is a payback for the surgery and radiation i went through. I`m a Fireman/paramedic and although I have most of my strength back, I have unexpected dizzy spells which they are very concerned about letting me go back online. If I had a desk job I would have been working months ago....but I may not be able to return to my career which profoundly sucks...been doing it for 25 years and I thought i had a few more to give.. However, I`m grateful for what I have because the alternative sucks worse right?
