Sorry for your loss. People sometimes don't understand the total feeling of sadness when you lose your buddy.

:(

My dogs name is Chief. He goes to work with me every day. When the time comes I’ll probably cry like a girl.

Partially why I don't wanna own an animal, just getting attached and then when the day comes I don't think I wanna deal with that :(. Anyways rip to your pooch

Sorry to hear about your four-legged friend. Good thing your young enough to have a few more. We have a Yellow Lab (HUGE Blockhead) her name is KC

RIP Starr

Man, sorry to hear. Dogs are the best people I always say. Wait a few weeks and get another pup. They need us too

tooge 05-11-2018 11:35 PM

Thing about pups is, unless you are super old you will outlive them. It’s sad, but give them all the love you can while they are here. If you did that, you did right

This! I had German shepards growing up, They were both gone before I was 16. I loved them more than my family, will never get a dog again. It is just setting you up for heartbreak. It really sucks!

And I did right man. She was only 6, but that was the best 6 years of my life and hers. She was treated really well. Just didn’t imagine it being so soon.

Just posting this on here because this is a shock as Starr, my husky, was only 6 years old. Just need some good vibes and some funny comments tonight to list my spirits. Going to watch some Patrick Mahomes highlights to help cheer me up. Thanks guys

Sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend. Don't be afraid to dive right back in as you will see your departed pooch in a new puppy.

I have lost 2 in the past and strongly suggest you not to wait to get a new one.

Sorry to hear about your friend. If you believe in such things he'll be there at the rainbow bridge when your time comes to join back up with you. You'll never find a purer love than from a dog.

Condolences on the loss of Starr. Huskies are special.

Thanks man. I sure hope she will be

I'm not a dog guy, I'm a cat guy. I've lost several over the past 20 years, and it hurts your heart each and every time. But you have to offset that by knowing that you gave your pet a wonderful life full of fun and full of love. And they gave back as much as they could. Let the sting heal, then go to a shelter, pick out a winner and give another pup a wonderful life.

Sorry to hear about your pup, MJ - really difficult thing to go through. Sounds like you gave her a great life, which is all you can do - she was lucky to have you.

To each their own, but you're really robbing yourself here, IMHO. Yeah, losing a pet is extremely difficult, but you have years of fun and love with that pet that you gain. Both you and your pet's lives are better for it.
