This show is horrible. What is with him referring to himself as Daddy all the time?

Are these the guys that go to lunch buffets while on the air?

Every time i turn this guy on he is talking about politics.

i generally can listen to anyone. not going to lie, he makes it hard to listen. i do like vernier. but show is a hot mess.

he's in love with himself. He thinks of himself as the smartest person in the room at any given time.

meanwhile, everyone else looking at him, realizes he's a complete moron.

he's truly awful. how anyone with decision making authority thought it was a good idea for him to have his own show is also an idiot.

Show is horrible...just awful radio. I was trying to listen to him a bit earlier. He started off talking about the Chiefs. He was going off on an Orlando Scandrick rant for some reason, but whatever, it's at least a Chiefs discussion. Then suddenly, in the middle of that conversation, he started a rant about Beyonce that continued on for five minutes at least before I changed channels. Had no clue what he was talking about or how he even got on that tirade. I just knew we were no longer discussing the Chiefs, or even sports at all by that point. :shake:

Fescoe and Soren grind on my nerves sometimes but I can at least understand the points they're trying to make. Show is unintelligible at virtually all times.

What's worse is when you 'tune in' to these shows from 1200 miles away and they aren't even talking Chiefs.

I've started listening to more podcasts now.

Because in that particular "biz", your goal is to make it up to a large market, because that's where the money is at.

Much like Mizzou sports, KC sports talk radio is a stepping stone job. All of the good ones leave when bigger/better jobs start callin'. Take Nick Wright for example. He was annoying at times but he had good takes on lots of stuff and did his homework, unlike Ron.

810 has been a dumpster fire for years. Not sure anything can save that station.

I used to like the day shift. Then Lake went to ATL(?) and they delegated Binkley to Royals coverage, which makes no ****ing sense considering he knows much more about football. At least now they have him on his own show and it's actually enjoyable. No way should Ron have taken over the Day Show. Should be Vern and Binkley, but 610 likes having a black and white co-host for some reason. I can't stand Ron's loud mouth and then his little ****ing weasel Serta cackling in the background like a middle school girl who just fell in love for the first time.

Show is not very good. Seems like a budget Whitlock. When him and Vern finally get a good back and forth going, show always tries to use "news flash" to get the last word. And yes, if it can possibly be tied back to race, he will go there.

Dumb show...can't listen to it. Vernier can't get in a word edgewise. Also, I get annoyed by how obviously Ron is trying to channel Chris Rock and his vocal schtick.

810 is probably not a good example of "stepping stone" but they're still garbage. If they're not broadcasting a game Im interested in, I never tune in.

810 is for the 55+ year old listener. Maybe catch a nice racing segment or talk some KSU sportz!! Both equally exciting.
