If you were unaware Crazyhorse had passed, you probably weren't paying attention to Claynus at his worst.

He was the target of Clay's 'hurry up and die already' rant that got him one of his many bannings.

Crazyhorse had the same disease as my wife, he went for the lung transplant while she didn't.

RIP Sacc you are missed.

Saccoppoo... he was a bright, witty dude.

I disagreed with him constantly... mostly because I wanted a QB that wasn’t a blatant stalemate or guaranteed failure from my perspective. He had a knack for hoggin’ for fatties and always seemed to have the best intel on some hidden diamonds buried in the lipids from Utah or whatever. I usually just let him rant and disagreed to myself because that dude, regardless of how much I disagreed with him that we needed all these fatties in early rounds, he could freaking spit his case and wipe the floor with someone like me who just wanted a QB, for the dude knew 100x more about draft prospects than I ever did or ever will...and he’d make me look stupid. The very few times I ever did rack up the courage to step to him on that, he’d rip me apart and we’d somehow end up talking about dates with hot chicks that we had been on and if and how we scored with them. Dude was funny.

Now that I know about Mahomes, and if I would have known about him back then, I probably wouldn’t have disagreed with him so adamantly about his insistence that we burn every early round pick we’d have on fatties.

I wonder what he’d think of this Mahomes era? Ya see, that’s what makes me the most sad about these guys who died before the start of the Mahomes era. I mean, even if you die between now and our next Super Bowl win, at least you were able to experience this initial and hopefully ongoing wave of Mahomania!!! The most exciting phase we’ve had, presumably since our last SB win decades ago. I mean, the National media has freaking caught on and won’t let go and it’s awesome! Finally, some real hype!! May see some Chiefs jerseys around in the most unexpected of places starting now... And the dude is ours, for the long term future. The Chiefs could be cool in the future...on a national (not just primarily regional) level...because this Mahomes cat. Like Green Bay. Green Bay has always received a pretty nice amount of national attention. It’s always been cool for the random newcomer NFL fan from Wyoming to choose the Packers to root for... and it’s not because of their geographical location. Why would the national media give a shit about Green Bay, the location? No, it’s because the franchise got a spark in the Lombardi/Starr era and they have continued to do things right and maintain winning methods/standards throughout the Favre and now Rodgers era. Maybe this is the start of the huge spark we have needed all these years that will be crucial in maintaining a winning/dominant franchise for the long-term future? Maybe it’s a reallllllly perfect time to become a Chiefs fan and eventually, that will become common knowledge and we will see Mahomes/Kelce/etc. jerseys atop the top seller list opposed to Brady. (I welcome the bandwagoners with open arms, considering they like the Chiefs and not just one player on the team).

Anyways, a lot of great Chiefs fans had to miss the entirety of this wave and that’s unfortunate. Reading these names makes me feel lucky that I was able to experience at least some of it. Noone knows when cancer or tragedy can strike whoever... while there are more important things in life than our Chiefs fandom (for most of us) dying with the assurance that this often times frustrating franchise that we love dearly is going in the right direction would be, at the very least, a happy thought.

Well this thread was peaceful and clear of drama...of course until the Perez Hilton of the board showed up.

The hypocrisy in this post is just...maddening.

No, I don’t remember that with CrazyHorse and Clay. I wasn’t paying attention, I guess.

* Oh, if some of you were unaware that Saccoppoo died, you probably weren’t paying attention to Baby Lee at his well, I’d say worst, but I’d probably be wrong, when he used the quip, “Saccoppoo snooze” shortly after Saccoppoo’s death in a terribly timed, attention-seeking, unclever effort to express his distaste in these guys who wished injury or the burning AIDS tree upon his boo, Alex. I wasn’t going to bring that up, for I didn’t need the attention THAT badly...not in this thread anyways.

Get the **** outta here, Mr. “Ill Will.”

Oh Jesus ****. I wasn't attacking you.

I was just saying that Crazyhorse's passing was a slightly larger matter than a random passing that might easier go unnoticed. This was because Claynus made a huge stink and that huge stink brought a lot of attention to both Claynus' behavior and Crazyhorse's pending death.

Let's save discussing someone who is unaware Saccapoo passed until the time when a regular poster SAYS he or she had no idea he passed some day.

All I was saying is that, if a regular is unaware of the Crazyhorse drama, and his eventual death, it's a different level of awareness than 'hey, what ever happened to . . .' for someone who passed without that kind of drama in his final days.

And someone of that camp who states that being an asshole in the abstract is different from being an asshole when 'real life' hits, one would think you'd be more cognizant of Claynus' situation where he told a dying man to his [metaphorical CP] face to die already over a football disagreement, versus me invoking Saccappoo after his death to drive home to people wishing death on others that people do actually die.

rico 10-27-2018 04:37 AM

Whatever, Geraldo. This sucks because I don’t think ROYC, a poster who has always come off as very cool to me, intended for this thread he created to simply acknowledge CP posters who passed away to turn in to a drama-fest...but of course...you posted.

I don’t remember it... out of sight, out of mind and isn’t anything that I wish I was part of. My point is, it comes off to me as hypocritical. I do remember the “Saccoppoo Snooze” shit, and wish I didn’t see that either, but did...and if you think that didn’t spark any attention, you are crazy. A bunch of posters (me not one of them, ironically) wanted YOU banned for that.

I guess I just don’t understand why a simple, “he died” wouldn’t be enough...no, there just HAS to be drama. Maybe a better place to address this would be by creating a “Clay is a ****ing Piece of Shit” thread in the Romper Room (well because SAUTO moved it there) as you did with me the very instant I began swinging back at your corny, annoying, compulsively passive aggressive ass.

Fair enough.

And all I’m saying is it didn’t have to be mentioned. I’m sure there was more about CrazyHorse as a poster on CP than a beef with Clay in his final days. A simple, “he died, he was the guy who ‘insert something else about Crazy Horse here’ and it was really funny” opposed to just going straight to what was probably his least favorite CP memory would have been more fitting.

Your perception of my cognizance of this situation probably fails in comparison to my perception of your grasp of the concept of, “there’s a time and place for everything.” You don’t get it...at all. My lack of cognizance regarding the Clay/CrazyHorse situation when compared to you coming up with that “Saccoppoo snooze” garbage is simply because I didn’t see the thread where it took place. I don’t remember reading it and I don’t even know if I knew who Clay was or what was going on with any of it (whether it was sarcasm, inside jokes, whatever) at the time because given the last time CrazyHorse posted, I’m guessing this was in 2011 and I was still trying to get the hang of this place, for I registered in September of 2011 (sidenote: same month/year class as Lewdog, Sorter, tecumseh and Bonekrusher) and it took me a while to get in a groove. The “Saccoppoo snooze” fiasco sticks out to me for multiple reasons. For one, I read it... and despite being 3 years deep in the Alex era where you’d randomly throw passive aggressive jabs at me and I just ignored it, that was the moment I decided to start swinging back at you... the beginning of the biggest, ongoing feud I’ve ever had on here...really, one of the only beefs I’ve ever had. So yeah, it sticks out... and if I had read the CrazyHorse stuff, that would probably stick out as well, but didn’t...and really wish I knew more about CrazyHorse now other than “Clay and CrazyHorse pre-death drama,” but because of you, that isn’t the case.

Sorry ROYC75. Hopefully this good thread recovers. I shouldn’t have bit...couldn’t help it.

Glad you're here to quash the drama.

And, again in case you missed it, since you're apparently speaking for Roy. Roy already replied directly to my post. Perhaps if he had any issues with my reminiscing, HE might have mentioned it then.

ROFL Thig Lyfe made the OP. We all tried telling him that LJS would clog his arteries. Especially in the portion sizes he was inhaling it in... the guy was STUBBORN!!!!

I've never seen Rico smack someone.
Oh BL my enjoyment isn't that he's smacking you although that isn't ever a bad time. I'm just saying. I didn't know Rico had it in him.
