Andrews was a 2nd opinion after Dr. Joyce (Royals doctor and orthopedic surgeon) told Bo that he had degenerative hip disease. Andrews basically said that Joyce was full of shit and he didn't have degenerative hip disease. It was a few months later that Andrews had to admit that Dr. Joyce was right. There's more than one smart doctor in the room.

Dr. Andrews did fix Drew Brees' shoulder.

This is CP.

You got about 10 minutes tops to get that kind of dynamite in.

I only barely beat Dartgod by 2 minutes, because I'm guessing he was going to get it if I didn't.

That is the claim.

However, my wife has had multiple hip surgeries, and before everyone she is notified that they often can't get a full picture for the issue until they're on the operating table. The doctors usually do not begin the surgery until she signs off that the surgery might be more invasive if the need is there.

I'd be stunned if something similar wasn't in place here - but in either case, Floyd is making the right move, as this injury cost him a potentially elite playing career.

I'm sure he was consented in advance, probably on forms that were not read, to the surgeon doing whatever they felt was medically necessary once they were in there. Standard practice.

That one went way over my head. I had to Google the meaning. Besides, I was working on the second part of my "I shot the Sharrif" post.
