This might be Pitt trying to not give the movie away but try to answer a reporters question

Spoilers for movie

Spoiler!

So that might explain the "Toxic Masculinity" that Pitt said concerning the main character.

Maybe think like an adult and be open minded. Toxic masculinity exists and this film greatly touches on something that shouldn't have been an issue

Very slow movie. If you are suffering from insomnia go see it!

stumppy 09-20-2019 08:58 PM

Just got back from seeing it. Fell asleep 4 times. Kept waiting for something, anything to happen.

I was going to see it tomorrow but not now.

It has a 51% audience score on the Tomatoes meter web site.

Movie reviewers suck.

I saw at least 5 people leave less than halfway through the movie. I wish I would have as well.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

My wife now wants me to go with her to see Downton Abby. :banghead:

The new Rambo movie, OTOH, has a 30% critic score and a 83% audience score.

Guess which movie I'm more likely to go see this weekend?

Tommy Lee Jones always seems grouchy in whatever he plays.

Director: " Okay we need someone to play an old grumpy man who is just a miserable person"

Cast Director: "How about Tommy Lee Jones?"

Director: "Perfect"

There’s an old SNL sketch from the 90s “Who’s more Grizzled?” It was Garth Brooks playing a bit against Robert Duvall. Hilarious skit.

I feel like Tommy Lee Jones would have for right in.

Movie could have been really cool - instead they just made it slow and depressing. And they didn't talk about technology or science. It was just kind of, there.

Yep with reviews I will see this when it streams.

Lzen 09-24-2019 10:15 AM

Dang, I thought this might be worth a theater viewing but with the reviews on here, I guess I'll wait for the DVD.

Should have gotten Christopher Nolan to direct it. :D

Movie is much more of an indie vibe and would be good ona rainy day

One of my all-time favorites. Good ol' Norm MacDonald as the gameshow host.

You used to be able to find it online but it's been scrubbed. NBC man....
