Didn’t people and the media blame him for the Rams loss? Even he said he “basically gave them 21 points.”

They said they’d lose to Indy because he “couldn’t win a big game”.

Semi already there and Pat needs to nip that narrative in the bud this season because the last thing he wants is a Peyton Manning rep of getting you a great season record with great individual stats but no championship always losing to Brady.

I don't know about this. Belichick owned him in the first half of the AFC championship with a Super Bowl on the line. It doesn't get too much bigger than that.

A lot of first year starters would have collapsed, but he came out in the 2nd half and lit it up.
