If Pat misses the 2nd half of a game against the Steelers or the Pats, you think either of those 2 are gonna come in and be able to keep things going the right way?

I mean, not Shurmer - he sucks.

But Litton can sling it. Yeah, you'll see more turnovers than you'd like but if you give him a little time and the same weapons Pat works with and he can give you 17-21 PPG; some rando 'veteran' isn't likely to give you any more than that.

Litton's a genuine NFL caliber thrower - he just needs to work on the 'passer' part of it. Andy can work with that.

Who are you trading for that will be better?

I’d absolutely roll with Litton for a half. Given our weapons, if he plays competently at all, you may be able to Patriot him to another team down the road.

Seeing as they seem to have Shurmer in front of him though, I dunno that Litton would be the guy they keep.

I'm thinking if it's a few games that Pat would be out and not the whole season, we would just need to weather the storm and get to the playoffs.

Neither of the other two guys would be able to get us through a few games. Henne might.

I'm not sure that's any less of an indictment of Speaks.

The guy's irrelevant. Okay - he's hurt. Whatever. IR him and keep Ivy. It's no loss - dude sucks.
