When you can't trust your wood guy, there is no one you can trust

My wood guy is always really hard to reach. I offered to buy him a phone at one point and he just gave me a funny look and refused. Then he strode off into the forest and I realized he was Sasquatch.

I thought so. They live out in the country by Warsaw, and my grandpa is a good ol' boy. Them good ol' boys take care of themselves.

Piņon wood is my always wood. A few joints here sell it. Great, great smell. Best for outdoors in a fire pit, or chiminea.

It's expensive to get wood when you need it

tooge 12-10-2019 03:18 PM

I cut my own wood, split it, and stack it. So technically, I'm a wood guy. Only good story I have is that about a month ago, a buddy came over to my place to help me get some wood so that he could take some home. He ended up cutting through his patellar tendon in his knee when the chainsaw kicked back. I bandaged him up, and got him to the ER, where he was until about 5 hours later when he went to surgery. He spent the next day at the hospital also to get antibiotics on board because chainsaw cuts are so damned dirty. I went home, gathered up the wood we had cut, split it, stacked it, and continued to be a wood guy.

I wouldn't call that a good wood story

That's a pretty good wood story.

How's your buddy now?
