not really. They did what their "rules" say to do by the book. Andy knew this and that's why the play worked exactly as planned.

Incorrect. Watch Chris Simms go over that play in detail. It will start to make sense.

Mahomes also threw the ball 57 yards in the air. Off his back foot. While getting hit. 57 yards. Ain't nobody else making that throw. And only a few receivers in all of football can run a route like that to make it work.

It was a pretty gutsy call; Patrick had to buy himself a lot of time to get that throw off. And by dropping 14 yards deep, there's only a very few QBs that have the arm strength to even make that throw.

The coolest thing is they can run damn near infinite variations of that same play, teams are never gonna know which guy might abruptly change his route from what they’re used to seeing

I've diagrammed the play with X's and O's and arrows. With arrows diagramming the WR Routes. Will be putting it on red and gold shirts for my grandkids. I'm having some L's made so I'll have some pristine shirts to give them when they are 15 or 16.

with "trey right, three Jet chip/wasp" underneath.

Like the 65 TPT shirts.

Also doing the "Rose Parade Right". And Damien's "run to immortality".
