Roth and Tomlin are just as much at fault if not more than AB.

Holy shit, youre really living up to my expectations about you being the dumbest mother****er on this site. Quit spamming this shit in every thread. You literally posted these 2 posts in this thread within an hour. What's your obsession with this? Do you think the front office is clueless to this? Do you not think they have a plan?

AB is a grown ass man. He probably needs to take responsibility for himself.

I was referring to the Stealers failures overall. Not ABs personal issues.

I predicted this before the season was even over.

The problem with a Watkins trade is that the Chiefs will still end up swallowing $7 million in dead money. The trade would only come if Sammy and his agent refused an extension, because I can’t see the Chiefs wanting to accrue more dead money for minimal trade compensation which is likely all Watkins would fetch given his $14 million price tag on the last year of a deal.

If Veach gets a third or fourth for Sammy, I’ll be extremely happy.

I bet not many teams will want to trade for future picks, though. Being the upcoming college season might get cancelled. At least we have adequate tape on this years class.

I’d imagine teams that run the WCO would value Watkins quite a bit in this scenario. Unlike a rookie, he can step in and play right away. They also have the option to extend him, or move on after the year and collect a nice comp pick...or tag him.

I'd personally rather see us extend him and bring his cap number down to a reasonable place. Sammy is talented and unselfish. He blocks, he runs dummy routes, he doesn't complain, he knows the system, and he makes CRUCIAL catches. He isn't a workhorse in terms of production, but he shows up and shows out when it matters most.

Like when you're trying to ice a mother****ing Super Bowl victory.

Philly has two 4th round compensatory picks. This should be easy to do if they want him.

If he’s getting traded to free up some cash... I’d follow up with these moves knowing that the offseason is gonna be funky and learning will be tough.

1) sign Robinson for a year

2) re-sign Breeland

Breeland for sure and maybe DRob if he doesn't want a Brink's truck worth of cash.

Need to sign or trade Jones to free up cap. Period.

I don't think we can trade Jones because he hasn't signed the franchise tag. If at all possible, we need to keep him long term.

I'm still worried about injuries when it comes to Watkins.

Think it is a bad plan to extend him for several years. Now if he wants to come off the 14 for next year and drop it to 11 or so then fine. But to have him for 3 more years at 12+ million, when you have to pay Patrick hopefully Jones... Just not seeing it.
