Trading a high draft pick just to add depth to a position of strength is not worth it.

Also Gilmore is a 30 year old CB whose play is already showing signs of decline this season and you want the Chiefs to absorb his $7 million base salary against their already tight salary cap situation in 2021?

I just don’t see this team doing anything as far as trades go right now.

Only $6m in cap space and they already have moves to make next offseason in order to get under the 2021 cap, so every dollar counts.

This roster is Super Bowl ready. If a scenario comes up where you can sign someone like they did Suggs or Bell, they will. But I don’t see any trades coming.

He’s 30, already has a huge cap number, and isn’t even playing like he did in previous years.

This team is not in any position to be taking on more hefty cap hits, especially for players past their prime.

Gilmore is 30, declining, and will cost a high draft pick. Then we'd have to fit him under our cap, which won't be easy.

We have a top 5 pass defense but yet let’s trade for Gilmore who will take up 7 mil in cap when the cap space next year is supposed to decrease. Wanna stunt Sneed and Fentons growth THATS how you do it
