They had good/great draft runs in a couple of patches. They just followed that up with bad stretches, which isn't really surprising, because GM work is largely hit and miss. But there's no question that Brady made it easier for Belichick to take gambles on picks against the advice of the scouts, and he did it a lot.

The Chiefs, because of Mahomes, are one of the teams now in position to do that same sort of thing, if they choose.

He's not nearly that clever, despite the players saying that in the SI article. He's closer to the High Sparrow with McNair as Tommen.

Go back in time to 2013. The Chiefs have finally fired Pioli after years of protest by fans begging for a culture change. Clark Hunt goes out and hires not Andy Reid but......... Bill O Brien. That's how Texans fans feel right now. **** me.

I remember when the “Oilers” left town. I remember thinking, “Wow, it doesn’t get any worse than this for a NFL city.” Maybe I was wrong.

Limited draft picks & cap issues. Watson may have to be MVP for several seasons

It’s not necessarily the best 53 players— it’s the right 53 players

Yep. The NfL should have kept the name, colors and history there like Cleveland did the Browns

Poor Watson. He's going to be running either McDaniels' or Daboll's offense.

Allen seemed to benefit from it so who knows how Watson will fare in it.
