Is this why we didn't really fix the OT problem, was because Reid really wants to keep the same OT's. |
Pre-draft smoke screen.

Really why won't Fisher go for it? |
We'd be foolish not to leave the door open for them. But as someone mentioned, at what price? As of today, neither could be counted on to be game ready for the start of the season, so you still have to address that. Our season could be over real quick if we have the same OTs we had for the SB.

MAYBE. |
I could be wrong but hasn't all of he reporting on Schwartz been that his post surgery recovery time is relatively short. I know backs are scary but if he can get healthy he seems like the easiest one to bring back.
Seeing Niang work out at left tackle in a strange way makes me feel better about the line. It locks in the left side with Niange, Thuney, and Blythe in at left tackle, left guard, and center. Right now everyone thinks its going to be Long and Remmers on the right side but I could see it being LDT and Long kicking out to Tackle with Remmers going back to Swing. If Schwartz could come back then I think the line becomes a real strength. |
Bring both back, and draft a LT or OC as well. Takes some pressure off the new guy, maybe Fisher ends up moving to RT post-injury?
Now our OL is a huge strength. |

Whatever the plan is now was clearly NOT the plan two months ago. |

I want Mitch to open a restaurant and retire cause that back probably won't hold up. Would love Fisher back on a 1 year.

It really isn't that hard to understand if people accept that the team isn't thinking about this situation with the same panic they are. |
They're not coming back guys, especially not Fisher.
He left a starter, he's not coming back to be a backup. |
