The offense isn’t bad. It never has been. Even at our worst we are terrific.

But it’s fair to say we had plenty of stuff to work on. And we still are. I think most of us by now just know we’re capable of way more. Good news is this is now a balanced team. But we still piss away too many opportunities that we know we shouldn’t.

Bills, Titans, Packers, and especially NYG.... no where near terrific.

And that's okay, seems like every offense in the league has taken some surprising dumps this season and now the Chiefs' is getting back to form at the right time.

Mahomes looked much sharper yesterday... of course partly due to receivers catching the ball, partly due to his precision passing, and partly seeing the throws only he can make.

It was terrific yesterday.

Before the TEN game, KC was averaging more than 450yds total offense per game.

Since then the Chiefs are averaging about 350/game.

The two raider games are the only games that Chiefs have looked like themselves.

But I think the offense should continue to improve and will once again look dominant going into the playoffs.

Yeah, for about a month it truly was all about the turnovers, and besides that they were a machine.

Then they compounded the turnover issues with other execution issues.... drops, questionable play calling and seemingly getting away from "the script" every week, some sketchy throws, and so forth.

Definitely getting their swagger back and of course the defense playing so well takes a lot of pressure off the offense to have to execute perfectly, so they can go back to taking some chances and being themselves.
