Jason Garrett has a relationship with Giants' ownership. When Joe Judge was hired as head coach, it was "suggested" that Garrett would be a good OC and someone with experience that could help Judge as a first time HC. I don't think Judge is any good as a HC, but Garrett was never his guy. He's been waiting for this moment the last 2 years.

Whoever said that the Garret firing was to cover up the ineptitude inherent in the HC and GM would be correct.
