And Andy has traditionally not been willing to play guys who haven't practiced. Though in this case he might not have a choice.

Nothing I can do about it. Have to look at it like it’s week 17 of Patrick’s rookie year or getting to see Saunders-a 325 lb DT play LB. got to seeThe progress Tim Ward made even though he’s no longer with kc. Point is it could be worse timing and record wise. The rest of the league is going through it as well. Just like anyone else in the world testing positive. Their health is priority #1. More snaps on O and D for backups and roll players. Chances for taxi squad players to show improvement/growth. Look it that way

Is this guy a new receiver we'd picked up weeks ago?

This.

The downside is some people will test positive for Covid for weeks. Even though they're not able to spread the disease.

It's clearly being passed around between the players. Appears that the receiver room has it. So do the DBs.

Just go ahead and test all of the starters as positive for this game and then get the 90 day test free window and be done with this shit through the Super Bowl.

Basically just have Mahomes left to worry about among the impact players, it seems. The others will be free for the playoffs now.

Reality is we have no idea if any of these guys will test out. Some of them probably will but if any have symptoms the odds are probably iffy. Just have to wait and see how their symptoms progress at this point.

This isn't a typical scenario or a typical reason for guys missing practice.

It won't be an issue if they test negative.

Red Dawg 12-21-2021 02:23 PM

Well, we may get ****ed this week. NFL can get ****ed with thier bullshit.

Once they've tested positive, they're exempt from the protocol for 90 days so none of these guys will be subject to the rule again.

Yes. Still issues - Not sure how they'll feel, miss practice all week, etc. . Might be off for the game.

Perfectly healthy guys have to possibly sit out.

Makes all the sense in the world!

Yep.

If this is still an issue on Friday, then be worried but it's only Tuesday.

Red Dawg 12-21-2021 02:25 PM

Who tested positive on Tuesday then played on Sunday even if they were vaxxed? I don't think anyone.

Yeah, I'm not too optimistic on any of these guys playing. I hope I'm wrong.
