Idk how you guys embed videos but this Martin guy looks like Cornell Powell pt 2

This is my guy though. As a 3rd-4th option in this offense

Tre Turner

He looks solid. Not sure comparing him to Cornell Powell is a major plus at this point, but good find!

I really think we need to take a RB no later than the Poole pick.

That's just me.

Keaontay Ingram, RB USC/Texas

5'11" 210-220lbs

USC - https://youtu.be/CCBVBnUCL2Q
Texas - https://youtu.be/NvSmBwAEoXE

I like him quite a bit. Not the fastest but fast enough and looks to have pretty good instincts, vision and burst. He likely goes undrafted but it wouldnt shock me if he were selected on day 3. He'd look good in a Chiefs uniform.

Case-in-point, Austin is now a high 3rd round prospect on The Draft Network.

Now ESPN has him as a potential late 1st rounder:

"Another wideout to keep an eye on late in Round 1: Calvin Austin III, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound dynamo who could run a sub-4.4-second 40-yard dash this week. He is one of the most underrated prospects in this draft, and I don't think it's that off the wall to put him to Tennessee here. He had 74 catches for 1,149 yards and eight scores at Memphis last season."

He's not as good as Elijah Moore who went 34 last year. Moore also had about 15 pounds on him and played in the SEC and not the AAC. I just don't see 1st rounder. I don't see high 2nd either. Maybe mid-2 to high 3.

Got my eyes on David Anenih from Houston who is a 3-4 OLB (6'3" 249). Those that like Bonitto may want to check him out.

Velus Jr, Austin III, Gray, and Melton were all previously 7th rounders that will climb due to sub 4.4 40s.

Calvin Austin III, WR, Memphis: It took only one run of the 40-yard dash for Austin to cement himself as one of the biggest winners from the combine so far. Austin's 4.32-second run had the crowd in awe at Lucas Oil Stadium, but his 39-inch vertical jump and 11-foot-3 broad jump are even more impressive for the 5-foot-8, 170-pound receiver. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, just two players since 2006 have posted marks that strong in all three of those drills: Denzel Ward (2018) and Parris Campbell (2019). Austin might not be a Round 1 lock, but he's at least moving into the early-Round 2 range. -- Miller

I think too much stock in this, honestly. Velus was a border 3rd and at least 4th coming in, not a 7th guy. Maybe some of these guys bump up on day 3 to 5th round or something, but they aren't suddenly going to crack day 2.

Everyone on the planet knew these guys were fast before the combine. It really only could have been disastrous had they not run fast. I 100% expected every one of those guys to at least flirt with mid 4.3's.

I think the problem lies in guys you expect to run that fast because of what you see on tape and then they lay an egg.

That's kind of how I see Burks. Watching him torch just about everyone's secondary at one point or another, you expected him to be faster than 4.55. He didn't look 4.3 but he looked solidly 4.4 at times. It doesn't drop him much for me, he's still a big dude that can run plenty fast enough to get by alot of corners and most safeties. Now, if a dude like that did run a low 4.4 or in the 4.3's, then that's a guy I think moves up the ladder for you.

I don't get the craziness for Austin. he's 5'7-3/4" and 170 pounds. He better ****ing run real fast and jump real high else he isn't going to amount to piss in this league. That's his only hope. He's a slightly faster version of Isaiah McKenzie. That's it. He's basically a slot-only/gadget guy in the NFL simply because of size. Yet, we have people talking bout him being a round 1 pick? I don't think so. I'd be floored. Maybe if he had the size of Bo Melton at 5'10-7/8" and 189 pounds. Now that's a guy that can be a Z at least.

The Austin I'm most intrigued by is Kevin Austin, Jr from Notre Dame. He only had one year of production at Notre Dame because of injuries, so it was hard to say what he was, but he came in at 6'2" 200 and put up a 4.37 and 4.43, but even better is a 39" vertical, 11' broad, and 6.71 3-cone. I think he's a guy I'd maybe put up on the radar on day 3 if medicals were to check out.

I think that'd be a fairly rich price for us especially after having spent a first on CEH recently.

CEH is a sunk cost.

Veach has shown no problem moving on from sunk costs in the past.

Definitely intriguing but 5' 9" 162lb taking hits in the NFL has the shelf life of a ripe banana.

SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES

He's a tiny player at 5-9 and 162 lbs - NFL defenders will be able to knock him off his route because of his slight frame
However, lining him up next Hill on deep routes could prove a nightmare. Like I said, intriguing.

Mike Rose, LB, Iowa State. Get Nieman out of here.
