Offense sells tickets even on losing teams.

Put up or ship out of Miami for Tua. Could be a great destination next year for a proven QB perhaps.

You make a good point. They're coming up on nearly 50 years without a chip and 25 years without a playoff win. They're almost exactly where we were a few years back so I'd guess they're probably needing something big. If all else fails, though, they're in Miami lol Miami is not a sports town like KC. |
Hill did it for the money, and I hope it's enough, because he's never been on a losing team before.
Even with all the success, Hill would get frustrated and get in his own head. Without guys like Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid to get his head right, we could see this deal being one the Dolphins regret. They don't have anyone to throw him the ball, he's going to be THE focal point of the defense. I guarantee you those Bills defenders are going to take their pound of flesh for those playoff heroics. The dude is in for some shitty football. So I hope the 30 mil per is worth it. |
Tyreek will probably be catching passes from Teddy Bridgewater by week 8.

The Dolphins have been close to the playoffs the last two seasons.
They could improve enough to be a playoff team. They have some good players and maybe this coaching staff will know what they are doing. Tyreek makes plays that change win probabilities big time. Salary cap will keep going up, by the time his contract ends, he probably is not highest AAV for WR |

I'm sure it will be, bro! |

That's when we offer them one of their 4th rounders back in trade. |
Contested catches might have a good synergy with a tentative QB.
Tentative might disappear when you know someone's gonna fight and win your tosses. |

They're irrelevant but not truly the dregs like the Lions or Browns, which was basically KC pre-Mahomes. |
Because Hill is an elite player and elite players are rare.

The other thing not mentioned is it gives perfect clarity to what Tua is or isn’t. People bash on the guy but it’s not like he’s had the best supporting cast. The worst thing that could happen is you take a wr with their first round pick and waddle gets hurt and then you are sitting around wondering if he could really win a super bowl. Now if he sucks you have two first rounders next year to go get a new qb either in the draft or on the trade market. And if he’s great you add two more pieces to a contending window. Either option is better than the Daniel Jones “he just needs another year have you seen the talent around him?” game.

Reid and Veach can do no wrong? or Reid and Veach without Mahomes is basically the Lions or Browns? |
