Yep. Team JAG at most skill positions and positions of need.

MVS is even faster than Hardman. And I agree with you about exciting we just need to get these guys to have Mahomes and Kelce's eyes up to speed quicker than normal.

Didn't realize Gordon was still with us. Thought he got cut.

IMO they won't be near what is needed to bail out the defense. The schedule is brutal. I expect us to hover around .500 all year as they figure it out. IMO Mahomes keeps them in the WC hunt.

I'd guess that's the plan...and possibly bring back Ingram. Hardman is in a contract year.

Then fill in the defensive blanks....CB/DE/DT/LB/S.

They are definitely taking a WR in the first IMO...Veach has shown he's all about getting Mahomes top offensive talent. It's a no-brainer opportunity with this many picks.

How does that group compare with the rest of the league?

Gordon, the wide receiver whose great talent has been overshadowed by his battle with drug addiction, has signed to stay with the Chiefs in 2022.

“KC right where I wanna be! Ain’t gon lie. I’m hype for 2022,” Gordon tweeted. “Been out the game so long ppl forget I even play ball.”

The 30-year-old Gordon spent last season with the Chiefs but was a non-factor, catching just five passes for 32 yards in 12 games.

Gordon burst onto the scene in 2013, leading the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards while playing for the Browns. But he has been suspended a total of six times for violations of the league’s substance abuse policies. No one can deny his talent, but at this point he’ll have an uphill battle just to make the Chiefs’ roster in September.

Matt Judon has been one of the New England Patriots’ most vocal recruiters.

The star defensive end has worked tirelessly on Twitter to recruit some of the NFL’s best free agents. Judon has went after names like Bobby Wagner, Julian Edelman, Allen Robinson, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and more. And to this point, he’s been unsuccessful.

The Patriots need depth at receiver, cornerback and linebacker — all positions Judon has been heavily recruiting. One of the most recent pass-catchers Judon has targeted is Josh Gordon. The 30-year-old had a stint with the Patriots and Judon took his chance, while thinking Gordon was a free agent.

Yes, I am there with you BUT there is a reason we have hardly seen him at all in the regular season. His primary responsibility is to be Pat's opposition in Madden:D What makes Pat happy makes Andy happy.:thumb:

I mean at least the rest of the west...

SD - WR Allen/Williams/Guyton TE Everett RB Eckler
LV - WR Adams/Renfrow/Edwards TE Waller RB Jacobs
Den - WR Jeudy/Sutton/Patrick TE Okwuegbunam RB Williams

Vegas is good till you look at the QB.
Denver has a good QB and a couple of receivers
SD is probably the most complete team in the division.

But I'd take Kelce over any of those TE and Mahomes obvs
JSS over Williams/Renfrow/Sutton
Hardman/MVS over Guyton/Edwards/Patrick

We lack a true #1 and a scary RB - Jones might help - but idk

Mosbonian 03-26-2022 01:23 PM

I swear.....the last time I saw so much whining and complaining here about offseason moves was the year we traded for what some said was a washed up and not that good running back from Baltimore.

Glad Gordon is back and sounds like he is motivated but.......wait and see once again.

I would take Ekeler over any of our RBs and that includes Jacobs as well. Ekeler is the current day MJD who has surprised everyone!

Denver's WRs WILL produce NOW because of Russell, but it will take 1/2 to a whole season to get that chemistry down though.

JSS compared to Williams/Sutton is a wash for me.

Fasho on Eckler. But is that saying Russell is a good QB or the WR will make Russell good. IMO Mahomes can make any receivers look good. So it’s really not saying a lot about Denver other than they got a good QB. That what Bud Vrooman counting on Mahomes with above avg WRs across the field is better than Mahomes with a superstar WR and the remaining average WRs. Throw in a superstar TE.

Wouldn’t you rank the chiefs group as last compared to these? At least right now? The draft could change all of that?

Last? Nah - We got a better QB, TE and WR2/3 than the rest the only thing they have better is a WR1 and a RB
