I'm not disappointed in his 40 time so much as it was underwhelming when he was supposed to be faster. And that takes into account his overall RAS, which wasn't as high as anybody thought. The 3-cone score is just another piece of that.

Man, I just can't get behind a small WR with no elite attributes. I mean, the kid is a football player; no question.

But he's small, not particularly fast, and not particularly agile.

Right. He's the definition of "high floor, low ceiling".

Agreed!

I mean, would you take Diontae Johnson with much better hands?

I think that’s his ceiling, which is still pretty damn good.

Probably not real high. People are talking about Dotson in the first? I mean, I don't see it.

Diontae has a lot of catches, but not a very high ypc. I'll admit I haven't watched all that much Shittsburgh the last year or two (and hated Raperberger anyway) but A little WR with a low ypc doesn't scream gamebreaker to me.

Diontae Johnson is a legit WR1 in terms of talent, but he’s been playing with the corpse of Big Ben on top of having issues catching the football.

If he had Dotson’s hands, it wouldn’t even be a question.

He likely wouldn’t be at the top of my list, but I’d be fine with the pick.

That may be true, like I said I haven't watched much Shittsburgh lately.

Ben has been shitty for a couple of years, so you may well be right. Still, you'd think he'd be creating some YAC at least.

Anyway, I doubt Dotson is all that high on the Chiefs' list, if the guys we're signing are any indication, we've shifted our 'type'. But who knows?

This is from Brugler’s The Beast:

He is an NFL starter in the Diontae Johnson mold with better hands and punt-return skills.
LMAO

Absolutely spot on.
