I wonder how many light fronts we'll actually see now.

He was the ONE guy. Like our Kelce. He's our ONE guy now, and he's a TE.

Defense can remove ONE guy if that's all you got.

Again, though, that's not all they've got.

They've got JuJU who was a pretty good #2 one a good offense. I don't see why he woudln't be that here.

Then you slot in Moore/Hardman/Etc.

Alot of those guys are young and were just recently drafted....in spots the Chiefs can't get to .

Irrelevant.

And Cinci is "Meh"?

Chase, Higgins and Boyd isn't a "meh" group.

That was like 3 years ago.

I don't think so either, but outside of Chase, those other 2 aren't any better than JuJu and theoretically Moore (if he again, is what they think).

And yet, he's still 25.

He had 900 yards and 9 TD's last year as the #1 catching balls from essentially Pestilence.

O.City, you simply have more faith that guys like Hardman and JJSS can win on key downs where we need them to win.

I believe that any of those guys can be consistently removed by average to above average defenders.

Shit, im not even convinced JJSS can stay healthy for a season.

My HOPE is that Hardman can develop into a consistent playmaker. But if he doesn't....oooof, idk man. It could get ugly.

Those two alone in a vacuum...no probably not.

But all factors included, I do think so yes.

My hope is that the defense will be improved enough to take up some of the slack created by not having Hill. That's putting a lot on rookie defenders though.

ToxSocks 07-20-2022 01:12 PM

The dark horse is MVS. And if you put a gun to my head and asked me who i thought was a better fit for this offense and who i think will be more productive, MVS or JJSS...i'm taking MVS.

I agree, and it's going to have to.

MVS and his atrocious catch rate from a HOF QB?

ChiefBlueCFC 07-20-2022 01:19 PM

DL, but specifically defensive end/EDGE then I'd say WR because of the unknown and an entirely new group. After that, secondary? Once again, just a lot of new faces, so I don't think it will be a weakness necessarily.

Deep passes have the lowest completion rate. And since he was primarily used as a deep threat, it doesn't strike me as odd that his catch rate wouldn't be great.

I think he's more likely to be our Eddie Kennison.

In order...

DE
WR
S
LB
CB
OL
DT
TE
QB
