Even if he's a beat late to make a direct play on the ball, the receiver in that situation is definitely going to get hit hard.

Agreed.

He definitely let up.

No doubt as he should. **** injuries in training camp.

If you're cutting a back as talented as Ronald Jones, you've got a pretty solid RB room.

I'm confident that McKinnon is adequate, cautiously optimistic about CEH, and excited about Pacheco.

GloucesterChief 08-05-2022 11:33 AM

McKinnon might be the odd man out there.

I agree. Its not like he made the team from the start last year, correct?

Kinda seems that way, but not thrilled with that. McKinnon is the only RB on the roster who has looked like he naturally thrives in this offense in real games. It's a small sample size but it includes him shining for us in the playoffs.

Knowmoe is a closet Chiefs fan.

Until proven different, McKinnon is our best RB.

The only thing I think going against McKinnon is his age 30, that's like 60 in RB years. Yet he plays like he is in his yute.

He's a different runner than all the other guys. Probably our most adept pass catcher, too.

Jones got a 1 year $1.5 mill deal. If it's down to an either/or between those two, the money is nothing. Keep McKinnon.

Never say never, but I have a very hard time seeing them letting him go

Smooth mover, explosive, good hands... dude was nails at Ben Roethlisbergers retirement party

I'm not sure why you would think that when McKinnon is famously good at pass protection and Ronald Jones is famously bad at it.

Probably looking at TE 4 vs RB 4 to make the roster.

TE: Kelce is a lock (duh), Bell offers quality blocking and QB Sneak ability, Gray is excelling in camp and is a 2nd year 4th round pick we traded up for, and Jody was a fun story last year but is coming off a serious injury and has already been dinged up causing him to miss time in this camp.

RB: CEH is a lock, and I don't know who slots where after that.

I think it'll be Jody vs RB 4, and they'll duke it out during the next couple weeks.

It might seem counter-intuitive, but I'd much rather keep Fortson and let RoJo go... I just see too much potential in Fortson
