You said to have him start over OBJ to teach him. I don’t deny there are a few things he can teach him as a veteran. All vet players should have some advice for the younger guys. Turning down 9 offers means he’s still holding out hope for an injury to be able to still play. None of those offers were to be a starting tackle after the season he had last year. He’s more likely to join Dallas with the Tyron Smith injury than anywhere else, but even then he’d be competing for a limited starting role with one of the backups.

I did say that, and I'm not completely sure it wouldn't be a good idea. Of course, I'm assuming that Fish is healthy, or at least healthier than he was last season, and that he could play at least 80% of the way back to his 2018 level. That's more than a couple 'ifs' for sure.
Doesn't mean it's impossible though.
Regardless, the chiefs tackle play outside of OBJ is not good. A solid backup that already knows the playbook would be nice to have.
