Lmao, so glad those pussy Blue Jays got eliminated.

Where's that reerun Bricks at?

Looks like Bricks hasn't posted since last year. His last post was to that reerun JakeF telling him how brave he was and that he gets picked on all the time. Now they're both gone. Good riddance.

In my 20 years on CP Bricks was the only poster I ever put on ignore. That’s saying something, since most of you guys are insufferable assholes.

Sounds like they plucked this play by play guy in the Cards game from a Tuesday afternoon MAC basketball game on ESPN Plus

Expected I'd be taking some shit here. I was actually at that game tonight. Interesting experience. Could be the worst game I've ever been to. Certainly the worst collapse anyway. It was also always likely to end poorly with this team, but the flaws they showed all season (bad managing and a bad bullpen) certainly cropped up at the worst time.

I had some tough real world shit happen a few weeks back though (mom unfortunately passed away), so it kind of puts into perspective how meaningless tough sports losses like these really are. Now I'll certainly miss the Jays as a distraction for the rest of this season, but hey, at least we've got the Chiefs and defending champion KU starting up soon.

Yeah that does suck. Sorry to hear that.

I'm a huge Phillies fan tonight. I know Philly is a disgusting city full of awful people but it's a step up over Fergusonistan.

Thanks, yeah it was too bad. She was the biggest Chiefs fan, hope they can do it for her this year (as it appears the Jays won't be!).

Mets are using their closer in the 7th inning. Odd what baseball has become.

Give me Cleveland or Seattle to win the WS at this point.

Sorry for your loss. I know the feeling of losing a parent. Hang in there.

Big Market Advanced Analytics League. Very exciting for select groups of people, awful for most.

Or the Jays pulling a quality starter (Gausman) in the 6th inning of a start he's just dealing in a 8-1 lead for a mediocre LHP against a RHB probably because some spreadsheet didn't want him facing a hitter for a 3rd time. Would never have happened even a few years ago and it's ruining the sport.
