Not sure why the NFL went back to the participation trophy approach of every team getting a prime time game… regardless of how much they suck.

That's basically the entire history of Thursday Night Football. People will watch because it's NFL and they have no choice.

Not last week… the World Series destroyed the NFL Thursday Night Game in head to head ratings.

Even with the obvious network TV vs streaming service medium that favored the World Series, a Chiefs/Chargers-type game would have made it a much closer comparison.

I'd rather watch baby seals getting clubbed on loop than this shit. Flipping to anything else at this point.

Wow.. I hardly ever bail out on a football game but this is some bad shit.. Uninspired teams and fans.. Think I will catch up on some DVRed shows..

Thursday Night Football still killed, ratings-wise though, with a terrible match-up that included 2 cities who both also had teams in the World Series. And the World Series was nationally televised as opposed to Amazon streaming for TNF. There shouldn't even be a discussion for who is going to win that match-up. And still it was something like 7 million to 12 million viewers. The NFL is a monster.

If you wanted to watch two garbage teams waste the clock by running the football at a mediocre clip, THEN BOY DO I HAVE A GAME FOR YOU!

displacedinMN 11-10-2022 08:09 PM

they are writing this game and season off for these teams

Stubborn ball-control offense will win some games in the regular season in the NFL.

displacedinMN 11-10-2022 08:31 PM

best thing about this game is it is half over

WhawhaWhat 11-10-2022 08:47 PM

This game is anti-football.

He sure did mess up on that touchdown. Took himself out of the play like that guy was on his fantasy team.

To those curious about the game of tackle football as it is played in the National Football League it is four quarters to play in a regulation game.

Quarter is synonymous with one fourth. Hence four quarters of a game equal a regulation game of tackle football.
