Scharping, a 2019 second-round pick, played three seasons for the Texans and started 33 games during his tenure in Houston.

"Max has played a lot of football, and he knows his stuff," Burrow said. "He's going to have to step up but we have all the faith in the world in him."
No one is going to come off the bench and play at Cappa’s level. It’s unrealistic to think that.

It’s been extremely frustrating seeing nearly every other team get pressure on Burrow while KC is unable to touch him. That being said, with these injuries and with Karlaftis and Jones coming on strong I have faith it will be a different story if we end up facing them. As long as the secondary can do their part the DL should be able to get pressure this time around. Let Sneed shadow Chase, McDuffie play the slot, and hope Watson/Williams don’t get abused too bad.

Wasn't that at the very end of the game when Cincy was trying to run out the clock? Seemed like Burrow gave up on the play, mainly to keep the clock moving.

That was true the 1st half of the year. Since Halloween they haven't given up more than 2 sacks in any game. This and the loss of the RT will probably change that though.

If we meet, Chris Jones is going to have a big day against a backup RG and a backup RT.

We've had a good pass rush basically all year. The CIN game was by far the lowest point. They dominated, yet we were about to go up 10 in the fourth until Kelce fumbled. That's crazy.
