Keep your WR1 and RB1 fresh and off Special Teams, I like it. WR3/4 with some juice. Guessing under $2m/szn.

I'm good with it.

What makes him particularly useful and why a veteran was necessary is he can play 'up the lineup' so to speak. So in hockey you like to have a guy who is ideally situated on the 3rd line but you know injuries happen so when they do, that guy can be placed on the 2nd line and hold his own while you wait to get your regular 2nd liner back healthy. So we have a REALLY injury prone guy in Kadarius Toney. So you know injuries are probably going to happen there. So now they have a depth guy in James who ideally is your WR4 (or hell, WR5) but when the inevitable occurs and Toney goes down for a bit, James is a guy you can ask a little more of and actually get it. I don't think Watson played 'up the lineup' very well. He was just not a guy who we could send out there as a #3 and get decent production out of. James is. |

They're pretty similar players, IMO. |
What did the five fingers say to the face?

I made the mistake of clicking on the Twitter link and going to the comments. We are getting the same bullshit that used to be posted about the Patriots.

Great pickup I think. Good little slot/flanker guy that can return kicks and punts pretty well. The type of guy we've been missing for a hot minute in the special teams' group.

Justin Whiteson’s midseason dropsies likely did him in
Toney MVS Moore James Ross? Rookie? Feeling really good if we add Hopkins (if cut) and a solid rookie WR. Nervous but fine if no Hopkins and am early-round rookie WR. Uncomfortable if no Hopkins and a mid/late-round rookie WR. |
Love it

Replacement for Hardman most likely. Good ST player as well.
