Another question for a dealership guy... almost every 2019 diesel f250 or f350 I find states it has the 3.73 axel ratio... this document from ford(link below) doesn't list that as an option for diesels. I wouldn't think Ford would put out a document this wrong but I also wonder could every dealership be this stupid?

You're right. 3.73 is only available with the gas engines. You can do the 3.31 3.55

Would you say the 2019 year falls into this category? Or how new we talking?

I could jump in either one, take it down the road and I don't think I'd ever notice a difference. How far from Idaho are you?? A ChiefsPlanet discount is a real thing :toast:

It would be a long trek... I am in NC.

What you really need is to stop looking at Ford and then your problem is solved. :D

F350 is hands down the go to Farm truck in cattle country. Get a Hydrabed and a cake feeder and you are good to go. Neighbor just got a new 350 gas. Nice truck.

All the new electronics will be the pain in the ass on the fancy trucks. GM is having tons of issues with 22's and 23's. Our Ford dealer is worried Ford will be in same boat.

Im looking at old square body chevys. Hard to find a short bed 4wd SB.

Stay safe.

Quit ****ing around with Ford and get a GMC Sierra 2500 Heavy Duty. Problem solved and you won't have to worry about who to call when you're broken down on the side of the road.

Is price the reason the Ford's seem so popular?

I'm genuinely curious because if it's not money it seems a GMC is a better truck and then a RAM.

Ford and GM are pretty close as far as price goes. Both are leaps and bounds better than Ram. A new Ram is $10,000 cheaper than anything else. There's a reason for that.

Get a RAM3500 dumbass!

Nothing douchier than a Dodge Ram. Ugly as sin and every idiot jacks them up. There's a reason it's number 1 for DUI's. Dumb shits own them. I feel like the Ram is the equivalent of the pit bull. All these wanna be bad ass idiots get one to look cool, but they look like dipshits.
