The refs have wayyyyy too much influence on the outcome of games.

I'll never forget that game against the Steelers where they just kept calling bogus penalties until they got into the endzone. Think it was like 5 in row.

There were a lot of questionable calls tonight.

A few bad calls against us, and then the timing of the D Holding call at the end was suspect as well.

The ref didn’t even reach for his flag until after the ball was picked.

Idk if there was anything going on tonight. I’m just saying some stuff looked odd.

Was it called to safe the Jets some face?(the hold on MVS)
Not saying, just saying

Yeah, and the NBC ref never ****ing disagrees with a call that goes against us, and he thought both the safety and the horse collar were bad.

Reruns in the comments... You can grab and hold the Breast plates/jersey with your hands and arms not extended and its not holding. There is no offensive holding on that play.

When they should the overhead view, not only was there the hold they called, but the slot WR was getting ****ing raped as well--so if the hold they called was a bad call, then it ****ing made up for that one on the same play.

Mr. Kotter 10-01-2023 09:49 PM

I misread the poll… it was utter bullshit

I see a facemask on #11 in white that was not called.

Not saying, just saying

So they wouldn't cover the spread. I would venture to say a lot of folks lost some money tonight.

I’m not saying they didn’t **** us with calls too. Just saying there’s no point in bitching about bad calls when both teams were shafted.

FFS. You don't understand holding. His hands are inside and the DL has to make a move. Not a hold.

Clyde Frog 10-01-2023 09:59 PM

I voted wrong. It was bullshit.

Therein lies the discrepancy and interpretation of the rule. You could interpret it as where they grab the jersey or you could interpret it as the direction they pull them in regardless of where they grab the player in the name of safety.

The rule according to an internet search:

"No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not apply to a runner who is in the tackle box or to a quarterback who is in the pocket."

Stop it. It’s holding.

How you could show the replay multiple times on air and not make any comment about maybe there was a facemask?
