What's weird to me is how absolutely disjointed they look on offense. A team led by Reid and Mahomes is sloppy, inefficient and basically can't run an actual NFL passing game.

It’s Week 16 and they still don’t have a defined WR rotation.

Also it was clear today why they haven’t used Rice much in the downfield passing game.

They said it in postgame, Mahomes missed wide open receivers. And by missed, I mean not throwing it to the open receiver.

He seems a bit skittish and saw him several times cringe expecting a sack, and then realizing he had an out and scrambled.

Outside of our defense, there has been little good to this season. Every game outside of the bears has been a struggle.

Tale of 2 halves. Happens all the time in the NFL. Now the ineptitude is in their heads. First half of the year there was still optimism they could clean it up. That’s long gone at this point.

Rice isn't a good route runner yet...he's a manufactured touch WR..we have 3 guys who are manufactured touch WRs...that's why all the screens are back. None of these WRs can just run his route and get open.

You’re exactly correct. They aren’t good enough to win on their own and it’s a massive problem. If the run game isn’t working we’re unable to consistently move the ball down the field unless Mahomes makes improv plays. We need a veteran who can run routes and some young guys who can stretch the field.

He’s inside his own head, we saw this in 2021.

Back then, however, he had a prime Reek and Kelce to get himself out of the funk. This year is going to be a bit harder.
