The ball came loose well before he was down. It was a monumentally bad attempt to reach out in that situation. And of course the defender's hand was just in the right spot and the ball bounced just the right way for it to go out of the end zone. Man...Buffalo got so many breaks in this game and still couldn't find a way to win. That's gotta be demoralizing.

Seriously, who cares whether the refs favor us or not, we are the NFL's Paragons of Virtue, the salt of the earth, every team needs to understand their place and we reminded Buffalo of that once again.

For Buffalo and the rest of the NFL: Haters gonna hate and whiners gonna whine
For us, the Chiefs: Chiefs gonna Chief, winners gonna win!

Unfortunately you still will, there are so many crybabies from fans of the other 31 teams that are butt-hurt we are once again in the AFC Championship and they can't cope with it. Let's relish in all their whining and drink all their salty tears.

That rule is bullshit and it altered a heavy weight NFL title fight. Ridiculous.

The Hardman call was the correct call.

It was inconclusive. It looked like it was, but there was no way to know for sure. Call on the field should have stood, even ****ing Allen ball sucking Romo said so...

The rule is absolutely correct and should never be changed. Between the Goal lines is nuetral territory. So if you fumble out of bounds there, you should get it back. End Zones are the opponents territory, you have to enter their territory with the ball to score points. If it is fumbled before crossing the endzone into their territory, then out of bounds, it is their ball as it was in their territory. I absolutely love this rule, even if it would have cost us tonight, because it is exactly the point of the game and defending your end of the field.

Yes, it was a fumble and they got the call correct. It is not in dispute. Claiming it wasn't a fumble is an unserious, homerish take.

Arch Stanton 01-21-2024 10:43 PM

The ball was "moving" because Hardman was trying to extend it over the goal line, not because it was knocked from his grip, so it was not a fumble of any sort.

Shaid 01-21-2024 10:46 PM

It was a fumble. It was damn close but it was a fumble.

Buffalo got every lucky bounce all game long.

-The fumble on the first or second play of the game we never got
-Hardman turnover (it was the right call, but it was close enough where it could've gone either way)
-The Josh Allen fumble on their final drive that would've been a guaranteed scoop and score

They had every opportunity to capitalize. But they didn't.

How about Josh's illegal pass on 3rd down early in the game? It was 3rd and forever. The refs blew it. Andy failed to challenge it. Buffalo gained big yardage on the play instead of punting. They ended up with a field goal and ran a ton of clock. Buffalo had a ton of things go their way in this one.

and if McDuffie doesn't barely tip that throw, Sneed takes it to the house...

It wasn't conclusive either way and should have stayed as the call on the field. Even Two Bills Drive reeruns were saying that they weren't sure on their board...
