I love me some NGS, as much as anybody. Their stuff is great.
But these little charts sometimes don't tell the story as accurately as maybe they'd like to think. I mean, it was just a few years ago they put one of these up for Pat back in 2021, and I don't remember CP unanimously agreeing with their take on Pat's performance(s). In fact, as I remember it, CP went semi-nuts disagreeing with their take. And I'm pretty sure they had one for him this season as well, and again, I don't remember CP touting NGS as the end-all/be-all of statistical analysis.
I think it's more than fair to say that Josh didn't have a great day throwing the ball deep. But I also think it's fair to say that his receivers shat their pants when Josh did deliver dimes that hit them in the hands/biceps.
I mean, he threw them three very catchable balls that none of his receivers secured, two of which hit these guys right in the hands. That's on the receivers, not Allen, imo. Catch the effing ball, that's your mfing job, especially when it hits you right in the hands.
edit: The commentary from Dan and Clark was great. Love listening to those guys talk football. Well, most of the time. Until they start just yelling at each other. But they're way better than Stephen A.'s show most of the time.
