I think you are right.

I just can't understand how you can be so dumb as to open the door with all those dogs right there. We put our dogs (not Pitts, boxers) in the other room if we have to answer the door for a delivery.

They need to put an open season on running loose Pitties. Ten bucks for a pair of ears. Hang the carcass over the owner's fence or put it on the porch. Let them deal with their precious Pitt Bull.
