Bears passed on Mahomes for Trubisky. Draft a bust in Fields and now are going to take a guy in a dress/likely complete bust number 1 overall? The failure is delicious

Even if the Bears believe the ceiling for Caleb is equal to Fields, you might as well take him, if for nothing else, to restart the shotclock on a rookie QB contract.

Why would the Bears do what is best for him if they are moving on? What's best for them is finding a team that needs a QB and cant make it up into the top 5.
